Blacksburg Transit will run expanded service on May 7th to accommodate the anticipated increased demand for the concert. BT is fare free for all riders. All routes (except Two Town Trolley) will drop off and pick up from the Cassell Coliseum bus stop, in addition to their normal routes from 2 PM until after the concert. ADA Service will begin at 1:30 PM.
The Cassell Coliseum bus stop is the closest bus stop to the concert venue, Lane Stadium.
To maintain consistency throughout the afternoon and evening, buses that are in service before the concert will remain in service throughout and after the concert. There will be extra buses in service from 2 PM through the end of the concert.
At 2 pm, these changes go into effect:
- HWA and HWB will be replaced with the HWC at 2pm.
- PRG and TCR will be replaced with with the TCP at 2pm.
- SMA will end service at 2pm (no service to Country Club Dr., Airport Rd., or Hubbard St.); the SMS will remain in service adding a stop at Fairfax Circle at 2 PM.
- These routes will remain in service: CRC, HDG, HWC, HXP, NMG, PHD, SMS, TCP and UCB until everyone is home from the concert.
Additional Route information:
- TTT will end service at 9:15 pm; there will be no return trips to Christiansburg after the concert.
- CAS will end service at 10:15 pm, passengers can catch any route on Washington Street to return to the Perry Street Garage and bus loops.

Service Delays
With significantly increased traffic both on campus and in town, delays to service are expected. We recommend heading to the bus stop early and planning for extra travel time. BT will do our best to maintain regular departures, however delays should be expected on all routes.
