On Friday, 10/3 between 5PM to 8:30PM, BMR, CAS, HDG, HXP, SMA and SMS will detour due to the Virginia Tech Homecoming Parade. BMR will begin detouring at 5PM. The other routes will detour at 6PM.
BT plans to resume normal route service at 8:30PM, or as soon as the streets reopen. Expect delays during and immediately after the events.
BMR: Detours at 5 PM
- All stops on South Stadium, Washington, Kent and Stanger will be closed.
CAS and HXP:
- All stops on Washington Street between West Campus and Kent will be closed.
- All stops on Kent Street and Stanger Street will be closed.
HDG:
- All stops on Main Street between Prices Fork Road and Roanoke St will be closed.
- All stops on Roanoke Street will be closed. All stops on Harding Avenue from Owens Street to Patrick Henry Drive will be closed.
- HDG Temporary Stop: HDG will have a temporary stop at the stop sign at Patrick Henry Drive and Harding Ave. HDG will service all stops between Patrick Henry Drive and Ascot Ln.
SMA and SMS
- All stops on Main Street between Prices Fork Road and Country Club will be closed.
